Good bye my friend,
Our editor Larry Jaffe has passed away
I am so sad to report that Larry Jaffe passed away on February 23, 2026. It took me several days to write this because I just couldn't accept the news.

I met Larry in 2007, at the Global Peace Conference at UCLA. Larry was the poet laureate, and I was one of the Conference planners. It is not lost on me that Global Peace has still not been attained. Many of the presenters ftom that conference have passed. Former President of Viet Nam, Van Thieu Ngyuen, His Royal Highness Prince Hso Knah PHa of Yawgnwe, and former President of Ghana Jerry Rawlings, are all passed now. It was a bit funny because Presidens Rawlings and Ngyuen had a loud discussion on who would sit by my daughter Stephanie. As they both were known for some brutal leadership, I realized that Steph may be the real Peacemaker. Since then, I have learned that each day may seem like a normal day however they are not. I know the days I planned the Conference did not feel extraordinary, but they were. Everything you do matters! EVERYTHING! I imagine they are all greeting Larry and continuing the conversation. Maybe Global Peace can be attained. With help on both sides of the Veil, All is possible.
I am so grateful for meeting all of them, however Larry stayed a constant in my work for 20 years. He was there no matter what, no matter the ask. I am feeling the vacuum of his absence.
He was surrounded by his wife, children and friends at the end. A blessed life for sure. Here is a link to his site. I think you will see what I feel at the loss of this teammate- Friend.
Poets are the doctors of the soul...
I know that the body dies, but the love does not. Larry LOVED life, family, friends and being the editor of this newsletter. He wanted a world of peace, unconditional love and freedom.
Now we must continue, not without Larry, but because of him. His Spirit and Love will be with us always.
Please send a prayer and thought for Larry. He was a gentle giant!
He always opened or closed with, my friend, when we communicated. I am honored to have been his friend and to be recognized as his friend.
Dottie

I admired his poetry and his knowledge and poetry and especially how he stated things in a perspective hadn't thought of. I amalwaysgateful that yoy, Dottie brought him into my knowing him. I asked him many questions and learned much. Praise God Almighty for such a saint.
I’m so sorry for your loss! Praying comfort over you and his loved ones!
